With reference to the letter of July Sath from the

Under Secretary of State for Colonies enclosing a letter from

War Office asking for certain information, I herewith forward

s ame : -

(1) The Co-ordinates for additional stations asked for: see

List "B" attached.

The Officer in Charge 2nd. Colonial Survey Section had

full access to all records and the values of the points

now forwarded could have been obtained (They are in the

same book from which the co-ordinates given in list marked

"A" were taken).

All available information was handed to him and these points

together with much other information appears to have been

omitted from the records collected by him.

The following stations do not now exist:-

42. Collinson Base (South) New Country Club House built

48. West Point

52. Fast Battery

59. Ma Tau Wei

62. Ngau Shi Wan (West)

over the site.

(2) The figures for thes station have been checked and reviewed.

See (7) List "A"; also station (100) List "B".

(3) In 1925 the Royal Observatory, Kowloon, made a correction

of-.51" time for Longitude. This information was published

in the Government Gazette and all the local papers, and

it is presumed that the Officer in Charge No.2 Colonial

Survey Section took a note of this, and alsɔ a note which

appears in red ink in the book from which the information

on
